Most frequent questions and answers
For simple brackets, where we have the material in stock; parts can be made for next day delivery. More complicated brackets can be produced within a week.
Our average lead time is 5-7 days, depending on material availablity and complexity of the job.
Assuming we have suitable tooling blocks, multiple machines can be put onto the project, offering industry leading times as short as 5 days.
Working in the prototype industry we are used to manufacturing 1off jobs, so there is no minimum order qty.
We are able to work with a wide range of materials such as steel, aluminum, copper from 0.5mm thick – 12mm thick
CR4, S275, S355 Mild steels of this grade
As an attachment to an email the maximum file size would be 30mb
Files larger than this can be sent through cloud storage. For example, Microsoft 365 OneDrive, SharePoint or Wetransfer, Google Drive etc…
We can accept many types of file formats however; we find that the most common formats that translate best between CAD systems are the following: 3D – .stp / .iges / .x_t 2D – .DXF / .DWG /
If you provide enough dimensions along with Images or sketches, we can reverse engineer to create a 3D model.
We have the biggest prima laser in the UK, meaning we can cut 5m x 2m and upto 16mm thick.
